English. Early 20C. Aluminium with 2 tie holes Painted black on front with raised lettering. Stamped ‘Acme Label. John Pinches. 3 Crown Buildings. Crown Street. Camberwell. There was a similar label in zinc with a date of 1857 – 1918. These 3 labels are in aluminium with the same stamp as the zinc labels. It is thought that the stamp was probably used on later aluminium labels. 2.5 inches (6cms) x 1.75 inches (4.7cms).
