French. C1850. Twin leaf springs. Horn scales. Sprung locking clip. Round dome headed bolt and square nut fix blades. Stamped ‘Nogent’. Nogent is in Haute-Marne and is the home of Nogent cutlery which has existed from the 17thcentury to today. The screw fixing the blades dates this to prior to 1855. 5.5 inches (13.8cms).
